Im out in santa monica anyone want to go to dave and busters with me and some friends and pklay games and drink lol
Hi. I'm very new at this. I've only made just over $3.00 on 7 accepted hits. Tips & helpful hints appreciated
I'm not sure when my last rejection was since I can only see 45 days and am not more organized than that lol I haven't had one in a long time though. I did have one recently but it was reversed due to their error. I have 66 over 87701 hits in just over 1.5 years and I know a lot of them were part of one batch that everyone had rejections on. I wish turk made it easier to look at your past hits.
Husband has another $2 hit up. I did it the other day (it was a different set of words than this one so I'm doing it again). Only difference I see is he says it should take 40 minutes. It didn't take that long at all last time so I guess we should cook it?
Back on the subject of REJECTS: Some of the requesters never cease to amaze me. I have got questions like these that somehow stick in my mind long after the fact: * How many times have you thought of castrating yourself? * How many times have you attempted suicide? * How many times have you fantasied about dressing a child up in an animal suit to have sex? And my most favorite AC REJECTION: Click on the invisible dot on the screen. Very funny because the instructions for my invisible dot were hidden behind some text box.. I saw To con on one side of the text box and reen on the other. I just happen to notice the same HIT a month later so I wanted to see where I had missed the AC earlier. (I wasn't gonna chance submitting again - just wanted to see this AC I supposedly missed). A few pages in here comes that same screen with the text box and the BS on both sides.. WTF is that? Only after I shrunk my screen to 50% did I see the instructions to click on the invisible dot at the top left on your screen. * How many times have you fantasied about dressing a child up in an animal suit to have sex? i actually did a survey about a month ago that asked me questions similar to that and how i'd feel or do in the situation. it was an actual survey and i felt dirty as hell aftwards even though i said hell no to everything.
Edit: Took 12 minutes going super duper slow so he either thinks turkers are slow and dumb or someone let it sit in their que for a long time last time and he thought it actually took them that long.
i think some surveys are put up just to test how much s**t people will put up with. this wasn't mturk but a few years ago i did a survey that after a few pages was almost impossible to advance (well it was impossible but i figured out how to do it barely). for some reason i made i all the way through. it was horrible and made me feel like punching something hard afterwards. i got paid though nothing was worth that. i wouldn't be surprised if that survey was a psych experiment.
I do think some ACs are just effed up. Esp when you are doing 100s of the same exact question but with one different scenario. But each page has the same questions. After a while you know what the questions are, and it is ridiculous to throw an AC in some of those because it's just like it's setting you up to fail really. Doesn't mean you aren't reading the questions or paying attention. It depends where the AC is.
this wasn't an attention check. they wanted to see how pedophilic some people are. and i didn't literally get that question. it just reminded me of the survey. <redacted>(i'm so sorry for putting this i wish i had never taken that survey).
I've never had issues with ACs. What annoys me are those damn surveys that swap the agree/disagree columns halfway through and it takes me a sec to notice.
i was just looking at my rejection from yesterday for a failed AC and if he is using the correct wording for the sentence that was supposed to be an AC then there is no FING way in hell i missed that. it literally asks you the question immediately followed by choose this answer to show you are reading it.
