If you do transcribe, grab the google chrome extension "spell bee." shit's a life saver. Open up the options in a tab and put your common misspellings in there, and put short cuts for big words. I only type like 60 characters to get 100 anymore.
The schools with fancy football stadiums are funding them with millions of dollars in booster money. Do your homework, Bernie.
Surprised people didn't go ape shit over the "in 2001 when the wages were going up at the end of the last clinton administration."
O'Malley forgot O'Malley was there. These mods man. Never thought I'd ever say this, but I miss Wolf Blitzer's gangsta ass.
Oh, man. That does look like a lifesaver. I have a terrible habit of spelling "that" as "taht." But I don't know if I could do the shortcuts for longer words. Didn't you have to reteach yourself to type, essentially?
Nah, it's great. It auto capitalizes the letters at beginning of words so now you don't have to use shift key "Bc" = because "wi" = with "esp" especially "n" and the perpetual gn instead of ng at the end of words like using- have to fix those individually but it makes it worth it experiment "exp" "unsta" United States "actly" actually "yk" you know on and on and on almost every type I foresee myself making again gets added to the bee. You get to watching the sentences just auto correct themselves as you type. Especially things like those filler words, people say okay a lot or you know a lot so "ok" turns into okay and "yK" turns into you know, "wut" turns into what, "cud" could, "shud" should "wud" would on and on, "u" = you. the being "teh" used to piss me off to no end. How many ways can actually be misspelled? It also keeps me mentally engaged with the speaker/transcription because I'm actively searching for things they're saying that can be shortened. it's the difference between and 50 sec and a 30 sec transcription. I've added apsotrophe words so I don't have to use the pinky, auto capitalize "i" in several instances. I find that it reduces finger confusion when you have to hit keys that are kind of foreign. Shift and ' are common. Who needs foreign keys? Hell you could auto correct / to ? To get the shift unnecessary for ? marks
I had a family friend who overdosed on heroin and his "friends" just kicked him out of the car and left him on the street to die. I think Hillary just got owned on that issue.
Martin's starting to remind me of that In Living Color skit, LOL. "Wrote a song about it. Like ta hear it here it go!"
O'Malley is way too fucking mechanical. Sometimes, I'm almost convinced there's someone blowing him behind that podium too.
