Hei, You are doing good. But it is not a big thing as you are from US. I was able to make 1000 even I am from India. So try to improve more.
thats over 1000$ In 45 days..Its doubtfull i can improve on that much more.. thats an avrage of 22.22$ A day.. Id say im doing pretty good thanks
I dont have any 1 type of hit other then surveys that i strictly do. I pretty much try to do any hits that are easy enuff and wont get rejected.. Most of those rejections came from Rob Leathern Hits.. And also Image AMT hits.. couple other requestors but those rejections im sure i earned lol
Yeah, Me too. I do edit hits from castingwords whenever they are available. I have their search thingy so I refresh it like every 20 seconds ;D And oh, okay!
Casting words is 1 requestor i religiously avoid simply cause those hits i just cannot do i dont understand transcribing at all! lol I admire anyone who can do those hits tho theres good money in there!!
That's awesome. I'm just going to shake my head and laugh at "so try to improve more". Guess not everyone's perfect lol
I know right lol I think there was a break down of communication somewhere cause i dont think my hands can handle much more lol
Haha, I did one transcribing hit and got a 6.. That was not much. So, I switched over to editing and I started getting all 9s. So, I'm sticking with editing right now. That does bring in a buck. Once I calculated, it bought me 30 bucks a hour.
Good but from US its pretty easy to reach that. I have done 13000 in that same period. HITs You Have Submitted Value Rate HITs Submitted 13482 — ... Approved 12381 99.2% ... Rejected 102 0.8% ... Pending 999 —
All right, you guys saying it's "easy" to do because we're from the US is kinda pissin me off. You're holding others to your own standards without giving them the ability to be held to their own. And that's why I don't post screen shots of my stuff. If I do well with a transcription job I'll hear that I'm "lucky" because I'm from the US. True. I'm proud to be from the US and I'm Fortunate to have a company to work through online that caters sometimes to US workers. I'm not going to feel bad that the money is staying here. And Hermione was a smarty-pants, but she wasn't pretentious.
I don't understand how someone could get a 6 in transcribing and be able to pull off a 9 in editing, because not all edit sections are always 9s. I get 9s on transcripts and I can't stand doing edits. I couldn't make $30 in an hour on an edit if I tried, unless every section was a true 9. Edits take me way longer and I make much less than I do transcribing because there are mistakes and sections come through misgraded or transcribed by a new worker who hasn't followed the style guide. I'm not saying you shouldn't be editing. I just hope that you're following the style guide closely because that product that gets sent out after edit is what the customer sees. If the customer is getting less than excellent work, they might seek out a different company to send their business to. That means less money for all of us.
Editing is not just about taking out things the original transcriber put and just putting it back in with no changes made for the sake of changing things. There is a style guide that must be adhered to or you won't continue to get 8s or 9s and you cannot just make the changes that are suggested by Word, either because that's a dead giveaway that you may not know about editing transcripts. Outside of Mturk, it actually takes people months of doing transcripts before companies offer them the editing job. I know this, because I've been at this with private clients and CW since 2008 The people at CW tend to have a feel for the ppl who are doing just enough to get by without taking the time to actually do the work required in an edit and revoking quals. So, I would be careful with CW and make sure you know the style guide very well considering the final edits is what the customer gets and if it's no good, CW gets it back and quals get revoked. Not at all trying to steal your editing thunder, but people who get 6s on transcripts probably shouldn't be messing with the final product. Again, not being mean/vindictive/bitchy or any of that, just trying to help you not lose your CW account.
