I've only done 4 or 5 of these but I'm guessing that if you find the company but they have a different address then what's listed you would put it in section 5.
Some of these seem to be people. Not companies. I put no and then put a link in the comments just in case. Since this seems logical I'll continue to do this unless I hear other wise. Unless I can turn up a company under their name at the address given. Then I treat it as a company. Thanks! P.S. City, County, State offices are considered companies, correct? I'm treating them as such.
TurkaTurka is correct about Q4. If the record is just a peson's name, if they seem to have a company associated to their name (ie Dr. John Smith) in the same city and state you can verify it.
Can put directory pages( as evidence) in finding correct address I just found 1 i.e http://www.lookupbook.com/people/oh/rocky-river/assuredpartners-of-ohio-llc Thanks, Got an answer from email.............
We aren't excluding any sources at this time. After everyone returns the sources we will then determine what was good and what wasn't...at this point we just want anything that can be found.
What if the site we find, is similar, but not exactly....example...looking for Mechanical Trucks, Inc......but the actual company at that address is Mack Trucks....just not a company, or do you want us to tell you what is going on? I may be sending you too much info.
The one I have not is E G & G ORTEC.....but all I find is just ORTEC Is that the right company, if the address is right, or not a company?
What if the address listed is not found, but there are many different addresses for the company? Like..lets say a popular theme park? Then I can choose whichever address I want as long as I am confirming that said company does in fact exist? Or should I choose headquarters? Lol sorry for the confusion...I have been going very slow on these and may be reading too much into it. I guess no one can say I do things half-assed though, eh?
Guess my poor ole brain is just too tired. I gotta get ready for church. Good luck everyone. I will check back after I get home.
Fairview and Wizard, I really appreciate your thoroughness. That being said, I also want to make sure you are making good pay. Make quick judgement calls and move on. My hope is that having multiple workers per HIT make a quick judgement call leads me to the correct answer. Trust me, I know this project is a tough one and the question I am asking is very open-ended. I'm hoping the raw data everyone returns me in the end shows some pattern that I can then draw answers from. I appreciate everyones work on these HITs and hopefully this project is out of our way and completed by tomorrow evening.
I was trying to do my first calendar, but I couldn't submit it. It erased my data and said I didn't enter all dates. What does that mean?
This happened to me on my first one and I realized that I tried submitting the calendar without highlighting the last day of the calendar. I also had to start over. So now I input first and last day listed on calendar first, then first and last day of school. Just so I remember.
They started a new sub-forum for these calendar hits. This is the link: http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?6608-x8-Data-School-Calendar-HITS
Back for more! Hey folks, I apologize that I've gone quiet the last month or so. Just wanted to update anyone who may be interested that we have a good chunk of work coming up in the next few months. I've spent the last month selling to a few customers as well as waiting for a few customers from the previous months projects to get back with a long-term commitment. In the last two days a lot of things have popped up which means more Turking in the coming months! I really appreciate all that have done work for me before, and it seems your work passed the quality tests of our customers, thank you. I've posted a small batch of 1,500 HITs that should go quickly, but will be followed by some smaller jobs in the next few days. In the coming weeks I've got a project that will have 25,000+ HITs and another one that if it comes through could be a long-term deal with ~20,000 HITs per month. Thanks again, -Dustin
Hi there, for the one you just posted, would you want us to not modify the search words at all? just look through the search results as they are on there? I ask because sometimes (like in the case of Beverly Azard) their names will bring up something quite generic (Beverly hills, etc.). I would want ot put parentheses around the names but then sometimes nothing shows up at all.
