The last two were kinda dumb. 1st two seemed rather harmless. NBC has managed to reference the NFL in everything so far. By the way, Simone Biles is from my neck of the woods in the Houston area.
That's too bad but she was a kid herself. Kids aren't known to be the brightest or the nicest sometimes. We are all young and stupid at some point in our lives.
Sure, and there's no rule that you need to be personable to be an athlete. Shawn Johnson is/was also local and she was always bubbly and friendly. I don't think I would have been described a bubbly or friendly as a 15 year old, but I wouldn't have been outright rude. I have several friends whose daughters trained at the same gym and she was disrespectful to staff there (and left on horrible terms and owing them thousands of dollars), never cheers for her teammates, doesn't put her hand on her heart for the national anthem, etc. I get not wanting to be bothered in public or not knowing how to act when you're young and in the spotlight, but she tends to cross the line from "young and awkward" to "entitled and bratty". She's now 20 and been famous for 4+ years. It would behoove her to figure out how to improve her attitude.
That line tends to get crossed more and more these days. I would have had the taste slapped out of my mouth back when I was that age if I behaved that way....
All valid points. She did put her hand on her heart last night though so maybe she's finally growing up.
Crystal is still on vacation isn't she? My son signed himself up for band and we got his schedule today. This is a lot of shit and a lot of traveling for a 6th grader. And their first fundraiser starts Wednesday and they are selling "band pasta"? I've spent the last 8 months preaching to everyone I know that pasta is bad and now I have to try and hustle them into buying some at $7 a box. How does she do it?
