They basically scam the requester for their money. Why not sell it to the employee as well, tbh? That's like being pissed you have to buy your uniform at work.

But they sell it requesters as access to elite workers or some such thing. If I buy it, it's about as meaningful as a college degree bought on the street corner.
Truth, I'd say the same as countless degrees in College too though. The technology changes and you're forced to learn everything new and your degree is meaningless. Doesn't mean the title of having it doesn't make you superior to someone else, for some reason. I.E - masters

Good luck getting requesters to even bother with masters once they learn those "superior" workers got that way because they paid for it.
Buying something usually means you will find less people cheating the system. If you have to pay for a game, you're less likely to hack on it because you just lost money getting banned. Perspective really.
it's rare these days to find a website that doesn't work either way http or https often www. is optional too I think they send new users to surveymonkey to handle signup so maybe they haven't noticed their secure server is misconfigured.
That still doesn't let me access it. It happened with another set of HITS here too, the one that says "type the numbers from the image" (paraphrased.) Too bad.
