    A friend from Amsterdam came to visit and brought several bags of those fabulous cookies! I didn't even know you could buy them in the US until a few weeks ago.

    Is Digestive a British generic term for cookies (like biscuits)? I seem to remember liking some cookie that was called something like Hobos/Hobnob (but I also remember the name Digestive)

    You can find these at many World Markets (or maybe even Bed Bath and Beyond if it has a grocery section). Bobbie - the Bed, Bath and Beyond on 123 in Vienna has a grocery section now

    I second World Market. Here on the left coast our World Markets have a great selection of imported goodies. I don't go often because I spend way too much money when I do. Not to mention the calories - delicious, delicious calories..

    World Market is like Pier 1 on crack. They have all the home goods stuff, but they also have a nice sized selection of international food and beverages. Oh and amazing jewelry and accessories. They have this delicious Riesling that comes in a cat shaped bottle, which I love so much and a decent beer selection.
