Bagel-donut shops are getting really creative. I had a carrot-cheesecake muffin last week. The outside is a muffin, but it's carrot cake dough, and the cheese had been shot inside. Very filling if you haven't had lunch.

  2. Happy Friday! I just started turking tonight, saw the huge batch of Mhr Nwr and figured I would do one to see if worth it (really not). I noticed that, when you answer the second question, it deletes your response to the first question (and vice versa). Just want to warn people that the hits are broken. (I am working in Chrome but I would think that it is not an OS issue)

Didn't know those were up. I went to check out of curiosity and saw what you meant. I tried it in Firefox and same thing happened.

I've been reading the blog "Leaving Low Wages," which deals with online work. The writer seems very intelligent. She's "a library paraprofessional with a Master's Degree in Psychology, researcher, blogger and part-time webpreneur."

In one 2013 entry, reviewing MT, she says "If a worker has a proven record of accurate work on a particular type of HIT, but across several requesters, they can attain 'Master' status."

Does anyone think that's still true?

  5. It is a crap shoot . . . Just looked at the link out of curiosity and saw this sentence "Based on what I have read in various blog and forum posts, my strategy is to do a lot of easy HITs first to build up a wide base of approved HITs before delving into HITs that seem more likely to be rejected. " Not going to last long on mturk if you think "good now I am do the hits that will likely be rejected"

    fixed it

*not really, it's still pretty ambiguous.
I assume they intended to say higher risk hits
like No TO, batches with long AA etc

I'm doing good how are you?

I'm drinking, but only lightly. It ok because the meds make up the difference.

Ah, I see. I didn't even have that perk when I had my surgery.

What? That's the best part about surgery.

I'm immune to pain pills. They don't work on me for pain or for feeling good. And not because I take them too much. I hadn't taken any in like 7 years.

I think she meant more complex or higher risk, which are more likely to be rejected. She has a 100% accepted rating here.

I have to decide if it's worth my staying instead of getting a job. I'm still locked out of too many hits, and yesterday it took me 12 hours to make $22, my best so far. I can't do that often.
