Pick whatever is most appropriate. Cleaning with a bit of laundry? Choose cleaning. Do a huge load of a laundry and also a bit of cleaning? Choose laundry. AFAIK, no one has ever been rejected so I wouldn't stress too much about that.

There were some big batches earlier but it looks like right now, they're only putting up a couple at a time (which are very quickly grabbed).
I've done over 800 taskrabbits and have never had a rejection. I've even had a couple times where I've slipped up on the iPhone and selected a cleaning task as 'Photography' or something completely wrong. Just go with your gut, and don't worry too much. The .01 HITs they put up seem to be to weed out some of those incorrect answers.
