No, to get cash in your hands you need to be from the US or India. I believe, at least. Other areas are restricted to Amazon Gift Card balance.
I never realized at all that TN was Amazon's official forum in anyway. I guess they want to keep their association with it under wraps, which does make sense. Really? She's an employee? I remember back on the old forum she was always offering to help people communicate with Amazon because she had some sort of connections there. The one time I had an issue where I couldn't figure out what it was that they wanted me to do her help was to tell me that I was getting legit Amazon messages. I knew that from the beginning. I wanted to know what I was supposed to be doing. And I believe she took a whole day to respond - just like Amazon.
I can't read the threads there any more but I assume you are posting a link of her whinning about how much it costs to run a server... Tis lies and she admitted that much again once again last week in the TN chatroom via PM (I asked her why Amazon let her get away w/ the blatant lying and that's when she didn't want to talk about how horrible a person she was...
Andy, if you didn't have haters before you're going to have them now. This is really interesting stuff.
People can think what they want. Spam actually seems nice and she is extremely dedicated to mturk, I just disagree with her forum/community management. The only "negative" things i've done is expose actual server costs (which are very little in actuality) and allow these threads to stay alive for months.
Who knows why I was really banned but I was put on permanent moderation w/ only read privileges after I I posted in a requester's thread saying that they were given bad advice by exclusively allowing quals through TN chat. My PM privileges were removed (even to staff) after I PMed a member about some of the BS Spammy has been behind.
^ Tactics used to preserve their member-base / requester base. I noticed "Active Members 450" on their site continue to decrease. Is this because they are kicking people off? Are "Active Members" people w/ full access?
That's an excellent question! Looks like she really is lying about just about everything. Those probably are the real costs except they're paid for by Amazon. Not her. I bet all of us posting here, particularly in this thread, are on the road to getting banned.
If Turkernation.com is owned and operated by Amazon why does it restrict all IP addresses from India where majority of the non-US Turkers belong to ?
OMG LOL.... I guess she doesn't have the balls to answer me as to why. I sent her a PM through the old TN forum since I was banned from the new TN and she banned me from that one too. LMFAO! That is just TFF! They don't restrict all IP addresses from India. Spamgirl just bans complete domains. I am assuming that is the only way she knows how to keep out the people she does not want in.
I apologize, I didn't mean for it to seem like you'd done something "Wrong". You gave the opportunity for people to find things out. It's not your fault that people are being banned or wanting to find out more about her "deal", you just gave them a place to talk about it.
