A little tip for those who aren't savvy with keyboard shortcuts:

click the first link, scan the page to see if the business is listed, then press ctrl+w ... that will close the tab and you'll be back at the tab that the hit is in. Do that for each of the 3 links. That little shortcut cuts back on the clicking and shaves a few seconds off each one. I've got my time down to about 20 seconds each.

Another tip to save a couple seconds:

Don't bother reading the business and location right when you accept the hit, just click the first link right away, and while the page is loading look up at the title bar of your browser to see the business that is being searched for.

  3. Thanks so much! I'm so on these right now!

Another tip - open all 3 windows at same time, then make all your selections at same time. x out the 3 screens while its in process of submitting. I'm about 22-24 sec with these, so chaos' advice might be better :)

Thanks. I saw the HIT, but didn't investigate due to CF's miserly ways.

I almost did the same thing, ignored it because it's CF. Glad I checked.

That works too. I find that it's quicker and easier to stay organized for me if I do one link at a time and just use the shortcut to close the tab, which gets me back to the hit instantly. I try to do as little clicking as possible, keyboard is much faster for me

Also by doing it this way, I've noticed that the search term disappears from the title bar if there are no results for the 411 link.. this way I can close it out without having to wait for the page to fully load, because I know it isn't there.

  7. Yes, to each his own, of course. I tried your way, and just bc I'm so used to "my way" it didnt work for me bc I get confused. haha. Everyone's different.

BTW- is it just my computer or are these taking forever to submit & bring up a new one right now (it didnt at first)

Yeah, there's some serious lag for me right now. It sucks, I had such a great roll going

Wow that completely sucks, I totally maxed out my alloted turks today by doing these simple ones. I didn't know there was a 100 submitted limit in one day? Is it just because I'm new? It was going pretty slow for me to near the end.

Yes, for your first 10 days as an active member you are limited to 100 HITs.

I see now. 100 HITS for the first ten days. Oh well, I guess I will get better at this sometime!

This lag in submitting sucks. I've got my average time down to 18 seconds though, so that makes up for it a little bit

    Thanks chaos.

For me, I just middle click the links on my mouse. This way I can quickly open all 3 tabs without immediately switching to them. Then I just go through them in order to determine my answers then entering it all in at the end since the prompt order corresponds with the link/tab order.

I'm also new, so this will be a good way to finish up and reach my limit for the day.

Yah, I've been playing around with my technique, and now I'm doing all 3 at once with the middle click, like you said. Then I just hit ctrl+tab to skip through all 3 tabs, then once more to get back to the hit tab. Put in my 3 answers, submit. 15 seconds. That puts it at a $12/hr rate

All of a sudden they're trying to pull something. I did 130 of them with 100% accuracy... now suddenly twice in a row they give me the "some of your answers weren't what we expected"... I double checked and my answer was RIGHT, so I clicked the button for "this question was unfair or incorrect" and pasted the exact listing from the link.

This happened to me also. Also, a spam looking window popped with with a message saying forbidden access, error error flashing. Crowdflower sent me a message that my answers were wrong and I am absolutely sure they were not. ???????? The spam looking window was from the business link on all of them. I sent crowdflower a message on their forum.

  17. CHAOS - I just returned here to bitch about the same thing!! I just got 2 in a row of "your answers arent what we expected". On one I thought I might have just made a mistake, but not the second one. Argghh

Keep getting "There was an error submitting your data. If this problem persists, please contact us." here.

Maybe they've gone so fast that the HIT count is confused? I've only managed to submit about 65.

  19. I was going to ask about this, but now you are prob in same boat as I am.

The instructions (as you know) say : Click on the links below for each directory. If COMFORT SOLUTIONS appears within the results for HOLLADAY, UT please answer Yes. Otherwise, answer No.

Well, there IS a comfort soutions in all 3 searches, but none of them are in HOLLADAY. They are still near, though. (Salt Lake & others).

So is this a trick to see if I'm paying attention or am I jaded now?

Would you click yes, or no for this one?

You would answer no if it is not in Holladay. That is what I would do.
