I got one yesterday that said "all abortions should be illegal except in cases of beastiality or rape." Finally I know why "in Minnesota, it's illegal to have sex with a live fish." Because geniuses like this think that otherwise, America would not only be a nonstop human and fish orgy, but it would clog our lakes and rivers with Merpeople.
Got this today: Followed the link, it's to an article talking about the London riots vs. London Olympics. I flagged it as Olympics but it's not obvious why. Followed this link, it was to a story about a commercial that aired during the Olympics. I flagged it, but that may be a stretch. Flagged, but it's a stretch. Reading all these tweets has shattered the last little bit of hope I had for humanity. Holy hell people are stupid.
Just had one that said "Japan just missed the post". I didn't flag it, but now I think that I should have, since it could mean soccer goal post. Just a heads up.
In the overwhelming majority of the tweets I've read, every single word has been misspelled. Every last damned one. And usually not in a way that shortens the word, so it isn't to squeeze a thought into 140 characters, but because these people are fucking morons.
I am a little older, but still part of what I consider the internet generation. But when I see these types of things, I realize that I'm not as plugged in as I thought. Makes me happy "lol"
