Are you keeping track of the reviewing that's been done? Meaning if we give you our worker ID can you let us know how we're doing so to speak? I'm fairly sure I'd die of a broken heart if I lost my ToTW qual's so it would be great to know how we're doing on these.
We are! Just PM your ID and we can send some feedback. Can't promise it'll be immediate, but we'll get to it. Love the enthusiasm about our hits!
I like to point out again that the ones doing edits took care of a large batch with the people that were already on board. All those hits were taken care of in less than a day.
Thanks for the input. I know that with so few reviewers it's nice to have the work but we'll be adding more (large) batches in the future! BTW, another one coming soon... very soon...
FWIW, I hate it when the addresses on the third party websites disagree with the one on the official site. Restaurateurs, your FB page should agree with your official site!
Thank you for giving me the reviewer qualification! I enjoyed your HITs and look forward to more soon!
Not all FB pages are created by the business. If the addresses disagree it's a surefire sign that it's not an official presence
Hi Everyone - A few things... 1. We've been getting a lot of questions about individual HITs, so we created a training guide to help walk you through the process. (We're having a little trouble with the design; it's best to use Firefox to view, otherwise the different tabs won't work properly. We're trying to update this.) 2. We're a little overwhelmed with the number of requests we've gotten for individual feedback. We'll still try to get to you, but for now please refer to the training guide with any questions. In the meantime we have been rejecting some HITs in MTurk with feedback for improvement. 3. Another batch coming today!
And here is a classic example of the Facebook page not being accurate. Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/il-giacalones-deli-livingston Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IlGiacalones - WRONG STATE Posts and photos on the FB wall within the month. Note the 973 area code, which is in New Jersey. The Yelp review lets me green light it, but geez - how do you get the state wrong on your own FB page?
Wow, good catch! Someone should let them know... Thanks for the attention to detail - many workers wouldn't have noticed that the state was different.
Getting the email alert that ToTW's are up......... :cheer2: :bounce: Seeing it's the ones you aren't qual'd for............
A bunch of the ones i have done today have allmenus or manta links for the official webpage. if the person who is doing those is on here, STOPPPPPPP!
I apologize if this question has been posted in one of the Great HITs threads and I missed the answer, but I currently have the reviewer qual with a value of 50. Will you be evaluating the work of those of us who currently have 50 to move us up to the 100 group in the future? So far all of the HITs I've done have been approved. Thank you in advance!
We are evaluating each batch and promoting the best workers. We're having trouble providing feedback to every single worker, but suffice it to say that we have started rejecting more HITs so that is one form of feedback.
It would actually be useful feedback if workers were able to see the finished HIT to review it and see what was wrong. Receiving a rejection and a comment like "Marked as closed, when the location was listed on the restaurant's official website." is pretty useless unless I know what HIT it was referring to. With the way MTurk is set up, there is no way for a worker to see what the content of the HIT was.
Did you have any Starbucks? I have started returning them if they don't show up in a quick google search because the official store locator is straight up ******* useless.
I have had my qualification revoked, but have not had a single HIT rejected out of 1000 or more done. I thought I was doing them right the entire time, but I guess not. I really wish I could sill work on them and have a chance to improve. I asked for feedback prior to my revoked qual, but the person that replied via Mturk just gave me an answer to another question without specifically telling me how I was doing so I could improve.
