Yeah, probably more and more people grabbing them, hard for their server to keep up. The HITs have been dropping by more and more each time I complete one. It's definitely a good batch if they all get approved, and looking at their TO it seems likely!

I had a wonderful experience with them yesterday. And then when they sent me an email today notifying there were more hits up, that is a big bonus in my book! Great requester!

I think it depends on the number of images it gives you to grade. Some of one give codes quickly, others not so much.

A particularly great member on this thread has an EXCELLENT spreadsheet for keeping track of this and more... If you ask nice enough - maybe they will make it public. Their email is @yahoo and it starts with the word "touch"... :D

***EDIT*** There is obviously more to the email - I just wanted to get the members attention without giving out the full email.... Please don't go emailing whomever has touch@yahoo.com to death as they will have no idea what you are talking about! :D

Yes I was getting nervous on my last one, that little load wheel kept spinning and spinning, but it got around to popping out my code....

No worries, I got what you were trying to get across. What I meant is that literally not every one is getting what you are saying about respecting the Requesters and the thread.

Just to add my .02 to the conversation going on earlier (which can be a lot in the turker world :) ) I love coming to this forum, and the little "chit-chat" really makes the tasks more fun. I completely agree on keeping survey results, and what not under wraps though. I would hate to botch an entire study for a college.

Amen! Idle chit-chat can make this a bit less tedious, and I personally love communicating/talking with you guys. But for the sake of research I believe we should never talk about Survey contexts aside from Links to them and any problems or difficulties associated with them. (I.e. no code production or what have you.) We want our time to pay off for more than just the money, we want this research to be valid!

On the commentary of idle chit-chat, that is one of the reasons that I love coming to this thread. Sure, the hits are nice, but I like relating my experiences with other turkers. It is a great way to release our tension over rejections and joys of earning those bonuses. The fact that yesterday I had a moment where I felt like I way being told to hush (no names) was just sad. Then again, I'm sick, moody, and female ;) So don't mind the blabber mouth in the corner.

    Oh look, redwoods...
