Batches are hits that don't take a lot of time to do and there's a lot of them. They come in "batches" of anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand hits per job. They usually don't pay a lot, but if you can get into the rhythm of doing one you can crank out a lot of money (hypothetically). They're usually data entry.
As soon as I jumped on those Houdini HITs about people meeting, I got my numbers way up. I got like 20 in about 15 minutes, well worth my time.

Honestly how do these people expect us to remember them. if i didnt do it 10 mins ago the ods of me remembering is slim to none. I have done SO MANY surveys at this point they all lookt he same. Cant tell you how mmuch i appreciate the hits with a ID checker to make sure you arnt repeating.
Yeah its frustrating especially if its the ones that do all the demographic checks and what not, then gets to the survey, so 2 minutes in, I'm like, "oh I've done thing one....return "
You know what the greatest thing about us is? We all don't want to skew the researcher's results SO MUCH we just return the HITs! It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Seriously, it cheers me up that we're so awesomely honest. Keep being awesome, turkers!
I agree I usually start taking them and if I recognize it then I return it. I think they should all be required to have a checker as the ones that do are so much easier.
