He's on a trip right now which is why i'm posting this and not him. Trying to see who's interested and then when he gets back he'll email you and let you know more about it. You will hear from him either today or tomorrow.

He won't give you the qualification just by clicking that as he needs to make sure your English skills are good, he will email you though.

I would be interested in at least taking the qualification test. I am a native English speaker, have 7,000 + hits submitted, and a 99.3 approval rate. Thank you.

I'm a bit curious where you got your $5-6/hr figure. I just completed one HIT which took me 6 minutes. Did you mean a solid .50-.60 an hour? There's no way to do a HIT a minute unless you don't read and type in random non sequitar answers.

Edit: Even if you did a HIT a minute, you'd still only make $3 an hour. You would have to do a single HIT every 30 seconds to make $6 an hour. That's just impossible.

I got the figure $5-6 an hour as that's what i'm earning from them. So no it's not impossible.

You've done one HIT and as stated earlier in this thread, the format takes a while to get used to. Once you do 20 or 30 you realise the required info is very samey each time and it becomes second nature. Then you can do them in 30-45 seconds like I do, and like others currently working on them do too.

Do you really think I work for $3 an hour? Here's my earnings for today if you need proof of the possiblity of it.

Here's what i've earned in the last few weeks, bearing in mind i've spent a lot of my turk time over the past month on these very hits

    It's very possible.

I'm quite sure we're getting different HITs. I've done about four of them now and they take anywhere from 6-11 minutes. Again, I'm not saying you're lying, but doesn't seem possible.

Edit: If you've done 74 of his HITs at 5 cents a HIT, you would be at 3.70, and at 7 cents a hit you would be at $5.18, unless you did other hits to make up the difference for $11.84

Edit: I went back to your earlier posts and I'm confident that we're speaking of two very different HIT models. My HITs come with a lengthy form of questions asking me specifics about what I read. The only check boxes available are 4 right after the story, and then after that it's a series of lengthy questions.

Well, i've just shown you I've earned nearly a thousand dollars, with another $300 pending, in the last 45 days, so if you think I waste my time on $3 work you're sorely mistaken. You've done 4 hits.

6-11 minutes? Maybe this type of thing just isn't for you :S

And to answer your thing about my earnings, the Marco hits haven't approved yet as its 7 day auto approve (only bad thing about them) which is why I have the majority of my hits pending. I was showing you what i've earned today. The 74 hits were 0.16 each as were the 104 hits before that which is a side job I do :]

Okay, makes sense. I sent you a PM about this, because I do get the feeling your HITs are way different than mine.

They're not different, but once you've done a few (like I said 30 or so is a good amount to get used to them) You see that they're all very samey. 90% of them don't even feature anything after question 3 so all you need to do is tick the no box 4 times, it's fairly rare that you need to do anything other than this.

Basically all you're doing is skim reading the article, entering the company name in question 1, entering the number of complaints mentioned in question 2 (if any, 50% of the time you leave this blank cuz it's not even mentioned) then copy pasting any comment the company has made into question 3. (Again, leaving it blank if it's not mentioned which is fairly common too) 10% of the time you'll copy paste a sentence into question 4 but that's fairly rare. Once you get used to the idea that really won't take you 6-11 minutes which you'd see if you'd given them a chance.

I don't have any option labeled "no". I'll try to do a couple dozen later. I just don't want to end up with 80 rejects over night.

Bumping this! There's still work available with a few dedicated people required.

Marco has listened to feedback and the qualifying test is now 20 questions long so post here or PM me if you'd like to try it out and give it a go to become qualified. We're looking for people who will have a go at all 20 questions and not stop at 1, as there is a learning curve on these HITs.

The HITs now pay 0.07 per HIT so you will be looking at $3.50-$5 per hour even in spite of this learning curve. We're looking for people who can work for around 6/7 hours a day over the next 8 days so your earning potential on these is around $210 over this period working at this rate.

Becoming qualified at these will also benefit you further into the future as Marco will likely have other articles to code further down the line, which will only be given to his preferred workers.

If this sounds good to you and you're a dedicated individual with good English skills then let me know!

The HITs seem so much easier now, Raymond! I just did a couple at 3-4 minutes. I hope I'll get this down within the next few hours to even less time. I had a massive headache the other day, so I'm sure that had a role in my complaining about time. lol

Also, for fields that have no answer, do I type in n/a or just leave them blank? Marco didn't say anything about it.
