From what I understand of the Browns' message boards, some thought Richardson could be dangled if they fell to 0-3, therefore bringing on full tank mode. Maybe the Browns wanted to see if he would work out, or if their young team would take an improbable step forward and come out of the gates hot. But they didn't, so I kind of get them virtually locking up one of 2014s top rookie QBs and building a foundation with several R1-R4 picks.
