Hai all. anyone requested for a cheque in the previous week? I have withdrawn 500$ on 4/10/2012. Still didn't received confirmation email from mturk. Usually I get email after 3 days. Just my curiosity, thats all. one more question, is it better to request for a cheque on the starting of a week or weekend to get faster cheque disperse.
I'm also experiencing a delay. I think the Amazon peeps have taken a couple of days off for their holidays.
I have requested on Oct 3rd till now i dint recive the Cheque confirmation email. Akhil You usually put 500$ earlier or this is the first time you are putting that amount.
I requested on Oct 4th. And it's still pending. It has never taken more than 3 days. I really thought the delay was due to the weekend coupled with the Columbus Day National holiday on Monday. But as for you Riyaz, it's been 7 days. Then it must be something else. Hmmm. Lemme think. It may also be connected to the recent fluctuations in the US-rupee conversion rates. May be they're waiting for the rate to hit even low. IDK. Just guessing.
I have also changed my address on Oct 4th, on Oct 3rd i put cheque, I have deleted the old address from Amazon.com in Manage address section, I have contacted mturk people about this but no response till now, I am worrying now, i have 2 issues 1. Cheque confimation mail has to come. 2. My new address has to approved.
Why did you order the check before your new address got verified and approved? Don't you have to enroll again for the approval of your new address? The enroll process normally takes 1 week and how could you withdraw before enrolling? From what I've seen, the withdraw option is disabled until you completes your enrollment. EDIT: Okay, I saw it wrong. You were able to withdraw before you changed your address, no? But I still think they'll send the check only to the previous address.
Might be Columbus Day holiday effect, in that case 2day or 2moro we should receive, if not there will be an issue?
Usually I put on Monday early timings of 4AM(IST), i receive Cheque confirmation mail on Thursday and i receive cheque on Monday or Tuesday as must. But this time i really messed up.
I don't have a strict time frame as you do^^. But usually I try to avoid weekends to come in between while ordering the checks.
Great News@@ I just received Indian Rupees Confirmation mail. Thank God One issue sorted, My new address has to approved!
Usually i get the " cheque on mail" confirmation on the 4th day after withdrawal. This time i made withdrawal on Oct 5th. Still the mail is pending.
There has been some delay this week for all of us. I withdrew on 3rd Oct and got it today. So you'll most prolly get "cheque on mail" tomorrow. Don't worry.
