Having a look over the Masters HITs at any given moment, there are a buttload of new requesters posting surveys. Masters have to be willing to train new requesters and I'm sure they have to be willing to do surveys.

Spread it around. I had great stats and huge numbers and here for years and I only got master once I got more variety.
I don't think anyone expects anyone to read every single post in the thread before asking a question. But scrolling back a page or so and/or using the search thread feature before asking doesn't take long. Most likely, you can do that and find your answer FASTER than if you were to post and ask and then wait around for someone to answer. Part of the reason these threads are 39583258262 pages is because the same question is asked over and over and then the askers keep posting the question again and again, wondering why no one is answering their question.
I don't mind people asking questions. I do mind questions that are answered 50 times. And some that have been answered just a few pages back. I ALSO MIND that I am eating this COLD BURGER but that is not your problem
Oh, f*ck. I just woke up from a nap and noticed that I had caught the sandwich HIT on C4C but only had three minutes left on the timer... I went ahead and submitted it and sent them a note that the survey was coming, I'm willing to risk the rejection for that potential bonus.
I'd have done the same thing. I scored a $30+ bonus on that. For people who did it before, how long do they take to pay the bonus? They do pay the bonus, don't they?
Scroll up, look at the green bar, and click on the word "Scripts." It's in there, along with a lot of other helpful tools for your success.
