I agree with the last sentence.. be careful with the pitchforks.. there will always be banter and chit chat and fights.. i feel the same way.. if someone does not like what i post then dont read it or pm me.. just as if i disagree i read over it and keep it moving.. people should not be posting a requesters personal info and saying how they plan to stalk them and harass them.. and i am not referring to the 33cube thing, but in other threads threats have been made..that is uncalled for and those people should be brought to the attention of amazon.. this entire forum is to help each other with all types of issues.. but if i feel amazon needs to know something i will tell them.. crucify me if you will i dont care.. i have been more than helpful on here and i am not going anywhere even if i am hated.. for the record i had nothing to do with the 33cube thing.. all that i saw posted was stuff already online.. but can you blame the guy for blocking? he was attacked with pitchforks for an error.. i would probably block also.. why deal with the hassle? we gotta look at it from their point of view as well.. i do feel bad for those people who did not bomb him and sent thank you emails for reversing rejections and for those who got their account suspended.. it sucks many people pay for what just a few did.. but that should be a learning lesson for everyone.. and i do hope those people either get unblocked or accounts re-instated

Honestly, I think this forum was made for the betterment of everyone that does MTurk. How would we get new members if we didn't allow them to lurk? Honestly, I lurked for a while until I got the hang of Turkin and was actually able to contribute. Not just being a lazy sack and taking all the hits that get posted. I think that a lot of the problems are that people are going to have difference of opinions. Those same people, don't seem to respect other people for having a difference of opinion. As for the fact that there is a rat among us turkers, that is just plain sick. The fact that you would sit out there, take every hit you can, and rat out those that try to make things better. Yeah we posted ways to contact the requester. And LOOK AT WHAT GOT DONE. No more rejections. No more ruined percentages. Sure you got blocked by an asshat that didn't know what he was doing in the first place, but that is going to happen. At least most of you got your percentages back and can continue to turk without delay on all the best hits that come down the pike. (Sorry Moutheater) I don't think that Amazon had done anything to suspend her account for anything that was said on here. If that was the case, then whoever had ratted us out on here should be ashamed. Taking away someone's income for a difference in opinion. That is just sad.
i must be dumb as hell I cant even get past the instructions of that volunteer game jesus. I dont knwo what question I am getting wrong it makes no sense I keep getting wrong. spent more time on the dam instruction then the hit itself is worth!
JFC drop this holier than thou attitude. Without people taking action yesterday, we lose out on hundreds of dollars and ruin the turking careers of multiple people. A mass block is better than those mass rejections standing up. If you run a public company, your name is out there and when people have a problem with your company, they contact you about it. That's how having a company works.
double check in 5 mins just to make sure.. but everyime i see that it has to do with captcha, or my comp goes nuts and to many pages go back or something weird.. but has always been k in 5 mins
Just me 2 cents, that's the reason I joined as well. And that's the reason I try to contribute - because it's possible. Closing the forum will help with prying eyes but it will also limit the number of people posting useful HITs.
I just took the practice test and missed one. I wasn't too confident going any further until I read reviews regarding rejection rates. I checked their TO, but didn't read anything about this specific HIT and rejection. I've done a few other batch hits for them without a problem. So, not sure what to tell ya except Good Luck and I hope you get them all approved.
The whole "the only information about 33cube info I saw posted was already information available on the internet" is COMPLETELY invalid because the info was NOT posted for random internet strangers to call him because they didn't like something that he did. Dude is a businessman (to the best of my knowledge) and didn't post that stuff so you guys could harass him about your Approval Ratings going down. He posted it so he could be contacted by other business people to talk business, not penny hits and rejections. ESPECIALLY 5-10 times in a row AFTER he forwarded you to voicemail because he didn't want to be harassed. Oh well, some people learned their lesson though.
Did you look at the style guide on Write.com? I failed also and emailed the responder. She told me to use the style guide to practice.

I couldn't get passed the volunteer testing either and had to return the hit. :-( Tried like 5 times and kept getting something wrong.
I did and I thought I did decent but I guess not. I've tried twice and it's just not worth it to try again.
I've never heard of CrowdFlower rejecting anyone. They usually just block you from working the hits on their side.
Gee, if THOSE were the people that got blocked, you might have a point. But there's no way that this guy can tie our forum name to our amazon ID. He simply wanted to block everybody who caught his scam. So next time he can rip other people off without all those complainers complaining about how they got ripped off and their turk careers ruined.
