I've had this qual before, and it's obvious that whoever does the proofreading has no clue about writing. After 20 or so HITs with nothing but positive feedback, I got my qual yanked randomly without a word. They never responded back to me, so I don't write for them anymore. It's a shame.
Yeah my account is fine now..Sorry guys its just the captcha thing..this is the first time its happening to me so i din know ! *Embarrassed*
why is it assumed it was a scam though? I think if it was a scam he would not have gone through the hassle to reverse the rejections. I am in favor of complaining, but doing it the right way, not with phone calls or business e-mails.. either way rejections were reversed and i hope have been paid out
I think I saw somewhere that the style is not APA or MLA but Yahoo. Yahoo? Really? So most of us are probably used to APA or MLA. I'm going to practice and try again.
I do, thanks. I submitted it. It looks fairly good in my opinion. I might actually post in on my blogosphere.
I don't think so either. Like I said, I had two prior blocks, Garth and RnR. This one was my third. It's up to Amazon now. I called 4 times. Twice, the line was busy, and twice we had a very cordial conversation about what happened. I emailed him more than once through mTurk asking about what happened, also very calmly. ;
You guys. If you are a member of CMB, kevin from 33cube made a post there : http://www.cloudmebaby.com/forums/v...t=33Cube&sid=90cbecf580b0a43f5a358e3167adb210
Can you copy and paste whatever it is he posted there so people don't have to make an account just to view his post over there?
Why would you block people 24 hours later because of an error? Why would you reject everybody right up until the exact moment that people start complaining about it? If you're running a public company like the one this dude is running, you should bend over backwards to make your employees happy, not giving them a "Strike 1" block because you screwed up your job. Not to mention that some people getting blocked never once called or sent a business e-mail, what else is there?
Those Facebook hits were nice hope they get approved. Who else did them? I only got 20. Must have jumped in a little late.

nobody ratted to amazon about 33cube.. she was suspended for having 3 blocks, plain and simple.. the question is were the blocks fair? I would say 1 definitely not, product r&r has a horrible reputation and should not even be allowed on amazon.. garth has lifted blocks so hopefully he comes through and will lift everyone whom he blocked.. and its still too early to tell what will happen with 33cube.. it is up to amazon now and in a way garth.. if he has been nice enough to lift some people maybe he will do it for everyone
Like a block that counts towards the 3 allowed blocks before a suspension? Or a different type of block?
Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience, all rejections should have been reversed and hits approved. If you decide to do more hits in the future, please ensure you look carefully at the example files, linked at the bottom of each of the four categorization tasks per photo. Our system relies heavily on consistency, and one inconsistent classification affects others. As a reference, with yesterday's hits less than 15% of photos had the same classifications between each 3 workers. Here are the example images for your convenience: Framing: http://files.everpix.net/Semantic-Tagging/framing.jpg Night: http://files.everpix.net/Semantic-Tagging/night.jpg Scene: http://files.everpix.net/Semantic-Tagging/scene.jpg Content: http://files.everpix.net/Semantic-Tagging/content.jpg Couple of points: * "very close" means the object occupies nearly the whole photo, such has there could barely be room for anything else in the photo. Not someone at conversation distance for instance, which is "close". * "night": We understand it's sometimes hard to figure out, in particular indoor, but then we ask for common sense: when lights are on for instance and people are having dinner. A wedding is indeed not likely to be "night". * "night" also encompasses sunrises and sunsets. * "horizon" does not mean the horizon is visible, but that there is nothing else of importance distracting from the horizon, for instance a car parked close in an outdoor landscape. * "abstract" includes computer rendered, so includes video games shots. * "city" means picture is taken in a outdoor in a city. For indoor, please pick "interior". Thanks for helping, Kevin -————————- Kevin Quennesson CTO & Co-Founder, 33cube Inc.
