What is the most that you guys have made in 1 day? Also, approx. how long did you work on Hits that day also?

I am just curious about this because I see a lot of online reviews of people complaining that mTurk is a ripoff etc. but I know I make ATLEAST minimum wage most of the time.

My best has been $39.34 and I worked around 5 hours of actual work.

 

I think my best is $60 for 2.5 hours of work. I got lucky that day. I know plenty of people here have had $100+ days though.

My best has been over $100 (not gonna give the exact amount due to trolls) and it was a 7 hour day.. I stick with batch hits mostly I never do surveys.. some say it is a rip off because they are not willing to put the work in. It takes time and effort to build up numbers, feel out requesters, get your niche, and of course on how many hours a day you do it. Plus it depends on when the hits are loaded. I know last month for 2 weeks straight the best hits loaded mid afternoon, then suddenly it went to mornings and now I have noticed it overnight..

 

$140, about 3 hours. These crazy good research HITs that ranked how people interacted on like wikipedia or something. (Who is bossy? Who is a good worker?) They used the same pieces of text for all the different HITs, so you'd rank a page once on who is bossy, once on who is a good worker, etc. So I took notes on all of them and FLEW through them. It was great.

There's really no way for us to know. If it is, he's been at it for a while.

 

Holy shit! Works out to 9 cents a hit, so seems doable if you started when MTurk opened up. BUt I'm a newb, so YMMV.
