Thanksgiving rolls are ONLY to make sandwiches with broccoli rice casserole, au gratin potatoes, and a mash of butter. Do you know nothing? lol

No one seems to GAF about my Dutch Potato Filling suggestion, so I'm just going to talk about it more. It's amazing. Essentially it's stuffing mixed with mashed potatoes and then baked. I mean it's just as simple as that.

You could try to tell me it isn't good that way, but you'd be wrong.

There was an old South Park episode where they crammed food in their butts and crapped out of their mouths... That approach might work? I don't know. With stuffing, might not be much of a difference.

Listen to turklyfe and use stale bread if you're making the stuffing part from scratch. If you're going to use the boxed stuff then don't use as much liquid as they suggest, or keep a cup of the bread mix uncooked to add right before you bake the filling. You don't want those bread cubes to turn to mush inside the mashed potatoes.

  18. My mom makes it with corn bread. (not that store bought jiffy corn bread, like home made cornmeal with some other stuff Im too tired to recall) Everything here for thanks giving has to be 100% home made. Even the turkey sometimes doesnt come from a store...

I know this will prompt more people to "omg not teh boxx!!!!111!!" but StoveTop is really the only stuffing I like. I hate the recipes that try to fancy it up with raisins, or celery or whatever other weird **** people put in there.

I hate celery in tuna too, in case people were wondering.

  20. never heard of ppl putting celery in tuna. I just do pickles, mayonaise & sometimes mustard.
