Can't find good HITs? 10/24

It can be difficult if you don't read the guidelines especially. But you are allowed to retake it and after the first time they will show you exactly where you are going wrong... so it is a good learning experience.

The Classify this hits never work for me.

Here is my kitty

 

I took this horror. It took me longer to complete it than the hour she had allotted. It was The Survey That Would Not End. Every time I thought it was over, another type of question would come up. By the end section, which I had no idea would BE the last part, I was flying by so fast that I'm pretty sure I missed an attention question. I would have gone back and fixed it, but the survey software made it impossible.

Seriously. Worse than your fiftieth taggered in a row.

 

Good, but kitties are still better.

 

Make sure your java is updated and that your browser has pop ups enabled.

I got the same thing, they gave me a dollar sixty. I sent them a message about what HIT it was but I just remembrered now. It was that one you and I discussed about how male or female someone looks based on a second flash of their face using the f and m keys. Remember?

 

I felt like crying and it took 8 minutes just to load. I barely beat the timer.

 

I only ever took the test HIT once, and I got an 87, then, I believe, I took practice HITs until I got above a 90 and since then, ( June 2011) I've never looked back and never had to do another practice HIT, though you can take the test multiple times if you don't do so hot.

After you start working on real HITs, you'll be overwhelmed with the style guide and with it's formatting, but just make sure you keep it on hand for awhile and after a few weeks you'll rarely have to check it. Speechink HITs can pay very nicely once you get your speed up. Good luck with your test.

Not hard, you just need to read those guidelines and REMEMBER THEM.
