From what I read, it seemed like a case of bad word choice and an even worst attitude. I mean it is ok to say that a hit wasn't that great but when you do, it should be in an informative manner so others can make the decision based on fact and not opinion. I mean the point is to post hits that are worth doing and not saying that one is bad is pretty dumb in my opinion cause nobody wants to wasted their time. But like I said it is all about word choice and a sense of community. Don't just say something is bad without a reason cause that is a personal attack on that person's judgment. Instead, just politely inform people of the potential pitfalls of the hit. I never understand how people just can't simply communicate in a civilized manner, it isn't that difficult.
Just wondering if anyone knows this about crowdsource? I tried to do a few of their hits and the 2 I am trying give me this message in preview and would when I accept them "Sorry, there are no remaining HITs." There are about 200 remaining hits according to mTurk's bar above it. Does it mean I've done too many of that task and hit my limit?
Yeah, if it's too long or something just post the time. Or post that it's writing if you hate writing because a lot of people hate it. But it's not like people are doing a HIT before posting it. They use their best guess at what is good and post it after accepting it themselves. If they waited to post until after they finished it, they would probably all be gone and those who just grab HITs on this forum would be SOL. I think that people who have never posted a HIT don't understand that they get snatched up quickly and so people who post them will post before doing it.
