bah I did this one last month and it only paid $1, I hate when they do that I am off you all have a great day.
Ok there seems to be a lot of confusion with CS sentiment HITs. If it's a news article, it's almost always neutral. If it talks about Apple being sued or HTC losing lots of money, it's neutral. The author hasn't expressed his or her thoughts and or opinions, but is merely reporting the fact!!! I hope this helps.
I just wish they had an option when both positive and negative sentiments are equally expressed. Like other sentiment hits. Not sure if "neutral" would cover this, like in the CrowdFlower hits, for example.
i think it's just that, with other cs sentiment hits, many people tend to get blocked very quickly due to a majority rules style system, which often contradicts itself, so it's natural for us to want to get a firm handle on what we think they're looking for, especially when the idea of sentiment in general can be seen as somewhat subjective... EDIT: also, check for email regarding 'spend as little as possible' survey
That $3 parent survey was long it was worth it. Got mine approved so quickly. Tim Edward's HITs are going down SO fast. I'm hopeful that he's taking them off and going to repost them without the Masters qual.
Here is what it says in the instructions under neutral: "Neutral: Indications of positivity or negativity toward the brand are non-existant" Wish they would have added the cancelling each other out part.
It's like the Crowdflower HITs minus all of the tension one suffers after clicking submit while one waits to see if their answers were what Crowdflower was expecting. Crowdflower: Causing Turkers to suffer from high levels of anxiety since *insert year here*.
Whether it's majority rule or not is irrelevant. What we want is to get a handle on what the requester wants. Period. End of Story.
Can that Vitamin Survey be taken again if you did it last month? It doesn't say anything about it being a repost just not to take it more than once on that HIT.
i emailed him to ask, but no reply. there are some things that are similar, and some things that are not, and the message seems to imply not taking this particular survey more than once, so i went ahead, one rejection won't matter either way, and because it's a 'test' and some things definitely need fixing, i figure the input i gave was reasonable...
