I don't really get the "thanks" on here. People thank others for saying they had a third glass of tea.
Anyone here using the mTurk list site that gives good HITs? The links are all spammy now, opening up some really fishy pop-up ads from adfly. Seems like it happened within the last few hours.
Hey, don't thank that guy Bear! He's anti-thanks. I don't think he's a real Texan. Must be some kinda ferner.
The thing is that the daily threads are so long that if everyone included every comment they wanted to make during the course of a day it would get completely out of control. So people use the thanks button just about anytime when they want to respond but don't want to clutter up the thread with bland posts. A thanks can mean "hi", "congratulations", "I agree with your post", "funny joke", "interesting information", "good for you" or "thanks."
I'm not anti-thanks..I just don't give out thank's on the first date. And to say I'm not a real Texan...well that just breaks my heart.
