Again, this may be troublesome in some cases, but think about the poor parts of town. If you don't have a vehicle or a public transit system, or you don't even have enough money to take the bus to the store, what's nearest to your home? Liquor stores, strip clubs, and maybe a casino (especially if you live on the reservation). There may be situations where you NEED to withdraw funds in these establishments because there's nothing else available to you.
My husband wants me to apply for food stamps right now because I would very, very likely qualify. I haven't because of all the judgement that comes with it. We are not starving, I am on a diet because I've been eating more than I need to, and my mom has that mom condition where she impulsively buys extra food so she can give it to us. "Oops, I bought 3 ketchups!" "Whoops, I got more raspberries than I can eat!" (There is no such thing as too many raspberries--for anyone in my family.) Anyway, things are super tight but we get by. What I don't want to deal with is someone judging me for paying with food stamps because I own a smartphone or something stupid. My husband works off our phone bill by doing yard work for his mom, she pays the bill, they agreed to get me the phone for my birthday last year. It takes a little over an hour and a half of his time to pay off the monthly payment on that phone. But you know some know-it-all would assume I can "afford a smartphone" so I can sure as hell buy my own food. Yeah buddy, the applications and resumes are out there, help me get a fucking interview and I'm sure I can land a job and take us BOTH out to lunch!
My Always on Top extension in chrome has vanished. Not even showing in search in the chrome store anymore. Anyone have a suggestion for a replacement?
I think iit's telling what people say or they infer from what people wrote that wasnt said. That's interesting more to me.
I used to work with people who sometimes spent their Bridge Card money at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt Pleasant.
I'm not gonna lie, I was actin' a fool at the strip bar the other week. I did this shit, but with money lol.
People dont judge really. I never noticed. If they do then they have way to much time on there hands worrying about other peoples bullshit. In that regard, there lives are more sad then mine could ever be.

In my experience it was rare for a cashier to judge unless they were in high school and had never lived alone before. Can't speak to how customers think though.
