Doesn't matter what kind of HIT you are doing. What matters is why are you discussing the survey on the forum?
I never said which survey it was. It's also not important to the survey. It's not the same as giving information about how to get bonuses in a specific survey or revealing information that could compromise the survey. Saying "Hey this is really silly" or "This was my favorite question I was asked today" isn't compromising. Saying "I chose x and got y bonus" or "They're looking for x demographic to qual" or "In my specific scenario, I was told x and then made a decision based on that" or "In this specific HIT, I was given this choice" ...those are compromising Also as Nicholai said, it's not even unique. You can see here that the same exact thing has been online for a long time.
Whoa just noticed this email 'You are receiving this email because a requester has granted you the following qualification: Qualification: Organization Information Harvesting Requester: CrowdSource Qualification Value: 2' Did some browsing, it's for this hit: Title: FIND: The Company's CFO (US, Level II) Requester: CrowdSource [A2SUM2D7EOAK1T] (TO) Description: Return CFO name for a given company. Reward: $0.48 Qualifications: Organization Information Harvesting is 2, Total approved HITs is not less than 500, HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95, Location is US Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=379R4POZ46QLA91MBKEMCZVBX44XR8 Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys Did some research, have only ever done 3 of these ever, on 6/18, and 1 review hit on 6/13. It must've been based on the linkedins (of which I've done thousands)
Survey content is not to be discussed on the forum and if you read the first page of a lot of surveys it requests that the content not be discussed. Period. But then a lot of people think that stuff isn't important.
Alright, left over scraps leave me 11.00 for the night, good start, but for now I need rest. In the mean time I'll watch Orange Is The New Lesbian
adaaaam is here. He can remove it if he thinks it's compromising. You're taking it way too far though. Nobody knows what HIT it is. Nobody knows any questions that were asked or what my answers were. The text I posted isn't unique to the survey. If a survey has a proverb in it, am I disallowed from ever posting that on the forum because something not unique was once part of a survey that was on mturk?
I just did a survey that said in the debriefing that they were interested in OLDER PEOPLES opinions, I am not that fucking old. Not my favorite hit of the day.
And this forum can regain this reputation: http://turkrequesters.blogspot.com/2012/12/unfortunate-reality-of-some-scamming.html
I'm sorry, a blogspot post doesn't mean much. Watch. http://devicedollars.com/mturk-make-money-4-real/
Wow! that sounds pretty harsh! On the other hand I am 58 and my opinions are quite abit different from when I was 18....effem
lol blog post of 2012. Doesnt matter cause people make up their minds. They think we suck ? They will continue to believe that. Same with us believing most requesters suck and pay horribly. In the end, who gives a fuck.
