I have been exchanging emails with a few requesters for most of the night. They will no longer be using master certs but will be creating a qual. Only issue is I have been awake so long. I cant remember there mturk names to get the qual.... SUCKS
I've been doing MedCrowd since yesterday 7 PM with a few half hour breaks here and there. I must be insane to keep doing them but they're so friggin easy!
Happy Thanksgiving, still going to Turk for a few hours, those medical bills just won't go away. Then making homemade pizza (husband's request) and pumpkin pie and then watch some movies.
Instead of asking requesters to not use the Masters qual. Aim for yourself to get it is fairly easy to do. I just got this qualification myself! 1 have over 105,000 Hits Completed. 2 Have only 344 Rejections 3 Keep a 99.0 or better quality. 4 Keep your blocks to a minimum. I don't have the dreaded capthca's any longer! Which means on batch HITS I move a lot faster now through one of them! 5 Tell them you love Mturk! That is how I got it.
It's. COLD. And yeah, I'm an ex-Californian, but still. If you're flying to PDX we haven't had any weather issues, just some rain. There will be snow in the mountain passes, if you're driving that-a-ways.
HAHA that's cute that's not at all how you get masters. Ive had it 5 times over the years. They give it and pull it at random. I have 195000 hits done and a 99.8 Never dropped below a 99.7 I know lately they have actually pulled it from half of all there masters due to slow down in maters work.
Weird issue peeps. Medcrowd gave me some certificate issue and then it started working again. The HITs went from 27K to 35K... Yay, more for me. Seriously, I must be insane to keep doing these. I'm going to stay up until 1 PM and keep doing them, nap for a few hours and do them more and then eat tonight.
I have now been on MTurk for a month, and have made $66. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but I do have a full time job and I work OT. At least that extra MTurk money puts gas in the car.
I just did some math, and you would have to do a little less than 7 HITs per minute for 24 hours a day to reach the 10K a day HIT limit. I don't think that's even possible.
Yes, O forgot to mention when I was on my rant, It seems as if amazon is just pulling the masters qual's from Americans and completely firing workers from outside the U.S. due to low amounts of turk work.
