Worst survey of all time (when taking into length and content). The only Tic I have experienced is the nearly uncontrollable action of my arms throwing my computer out the window while doing this survey.
Thank you leftfield, where can I contact them? I searched both "McKay Anxiety Lab" and the "HIT#" and nothing came up. Do I just chalk it up to lost time? Secondly, it's weird, they say you can have 100 hits a day when you first start out right? Well, it only says that I have submitted 89 but won't let me take anymore. Don't know what is up with that.....right when I was on a good batch too (thanks to TurkorTreat) Can't wait to get 1) The lift taken off and 2) Meet more quals.
Here's his response to my email: I'm sorry but I can't reverse the rejection. I searched more than 5 times for your Mturk workerid, and it was not entered in our system. You may have finished the survey, but without entering your workerid at the end, I have no way of verifying that you finished the survey. I'm sorry, but it was clearly stated that we needed your workerid in order to verify your response and pay you. --Dr. Kline -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What an F'n QUACK!

LOL! So true. This survey was never ending. I did have one worst earlier this week. It took around the same amount of time, but paid .75 cent.
I answered my own question about the HITS (89) I wasn't counting the ones I returned. Well, this was the shortest day yet and the first day that I actually reached my HIT count
Go into your account and you can find his email that way. Look under the hit provided you submitted it. His name is there. Click his name and an email box will come up.
If you submitted it, look in your status for McKay Anxiety Lab and click their name to send a message. If you returned it try this link https://www.mturk.com/mturk/contact?subject=Regarding+Amazon+Mechanical+Turk+HIT+2KXDEY5COW0L09IRDHIFTC6VR9XV4Y&requesterId=AC0PMLGLVH8B6&requesterName=McKay+Anxiety+Lab That link may or may not work...I rebuilt it from another contact link with their info. Best of luck to ya.
i apologize if someone has posted this but i just did 3 matt rubin HITs that requested a course that didn't exist. this happened with multiple universities and i double check all the criteria. anyone else have this problem? i don't wanna get rejected. i just put "course did not exist" in the comment box
i've been returning them, both because i don't know what he'll do about courses that don't exist, and because i don't want them popping back up again every time i finish one that i can find... EDIT: and i just have to say that if it wasn't for these rubin hits the last two days would have been completely dismal for me, turk-wise...
Thats probably a good idea... i just hate spending the minute or so it takes to look only to have it returned. i submitted 3 with "course does not exist" so we'll see what happens. $.50 is hard to pass up for 2 minutes of work
I submitted them with the url proving the course did not exist or was unavailable for the requester semester. I did the same last week and all of those were approved.
Ok awesome, i'll continue that. I don't wanna pass up on $.50 haha. I sent him a message asking how he would like us to handle such issues. i'll post what he says when/if i get a reply
Good afternoon everyone! Just got done putting the tree up with the kiddies. Man, this year sure did seem to fly by. As I get older I catch myself saying that more and more. Anyone else understand what I'm saying? LOL Any other batches out besides the Rubins? I spent almost a half hour on one this morning and not even sure if I was able to find the correct people or not. I'll leave those to you more patient people!
