I managed to get 42.... I think with the quals a lot fewer people are doing them... They have three quals. TRL001, TRL002 and one called TEST... I've got those three and this batch was on the TRL002 qual.
Rob, when was the last time you saw any of those AnitaMc HITS? I remember a couple of months ago, it seemed you and I were the only ones who liked them. I kind of miss them. They were easy to me.

Will his audio upload into Express Scribe? I couldn't figure out how to do it and I'm not that good yet if I can't slow it down a little.
The biggest thing that helps me is going to MTurk at different times of the day. I have an admittedly odd schedule, but I check in when I can. HITs are constantly going up and down, so every few hours it's almost a whole other Turk! I think I get a lot of the best things by coming and going, especially knowing when to walk away when it's WAY too slow instead of getting frustrated looking at the same HITs.
I did it a few weeks ago, but didn't pass. Mine was fairly casual/conversational, but well written. Some background: I studied creative writing in college at a top 30 school. I also worked FOR the school helping other students write and edit papers. I know MLA, APA, Elements of Style, and Hacker's style guide back and forth. After I graduated I had a job editing and localizing translated press releases for overseas companies. I am a skilled and knowledgeable writer. They rejected me saying it was "filled" with grammar and punctuation errors lol, so I somewhat question who's reviewing the submissions. Regardless, I'm going to keep trying, because it seems like a very profitable qual. When I first started Turking in 2010 I did tons and tons of writing hits, got bonuses for quality, etc. I didn't Turk at all in 2011. So who knows. Perhaps I am just rusty.
Be sure to download the Turkoptican broswer extension! It can be an absolute lifesaver. Best Thread with all the Proper Extensions!

I haven't heard that name in a long time - so it's been a while. Seems like a lot of great requesters finish their project never to be heard from again... A shame.
Yes, I have noticed that. I walk away frequently, mainly because sitting too long gives me numb-butt! Recently I've tried doing some of the icky paying batch hits just to feel like I'm doing something, then check often. Just experimenting with different strategies and y'all have been extremely helpful. Thanks!
IN case anyone missed this hit yesterday, it's back up. They limit you to 17, but it's easy. .30 a hit, takes a minute https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2E3PVP3TVOK527O8SSYQIO0F1T0412
