Your rock Sas! I know you work around the clock or crazed hours, cause we're in different time zones. I really don't know how you're able to think clearly enough. I mean it does get really draining. The computer light really bothers me after a while. But, the flexibility is what I like most.

i'm ruining my neck and my eyesight, but otherwise it's okay. i have a pretty decent tolerance for mindless repetitive tasks, i think it comes from a childhood full of organizing and reorganizing baseball cards... i'm also heavily motivated by earning money, before i found mturk i hadn't had work in over a year and spent most of that time not being able to find clients or local jobs, and playing a lot of minecraft and other random video games, so i figure i'm making up for my lack of productivity...

Thanks for the info. I didn't even notice a difference for the Maryland universities. Now that I look at the provided list I see what you are saying. I just Google'd University of Maryland and landed on umd.edu. I have been using the undergrad and grad catalog for nearly every answer. 95% have matched up nicely and I have been able to knock out about 25 for UMD.

I hope this isn't a majority rules. One nice thing about focusing on UMD, though is if I get the criteria twice, I could be the majority :)

that's the one that's about programs that architects use. 'computer architecture' is different, it's about how computers are organized.

OMG, you said the word ...MINECRAFT... my 6 year old is a guru, an absolute freak. I don't understand a thing. But, he is amazing. He can talk about it like a teenager. Anywho, what did you do for a living before? You have a very broad base of knowledge. Yes, we are impressed. LOL. In the next month or two, I'm going to launch my own website, but I'll still be hanging here :)

ok I think I am going to give up on matt rubin. I am just having a really hard time with this one. I will probably get the one that I turned in rejected, but I wrote on there that it was the best I could find for the school he gave me. Now he has one that says the principles of cell biology and all I can find is essential cell biology. I am too worried now and don't want to turn in ones with different names.

All I need is 200 hits to reach my 1000 goal for the day and I can seem to get them. I would have probably had it already if it wasn't for family obligations that I had to stop working for.

My boys keep talking about that game. We bought them each a tablet for Christmas...and of course it is the one that can't get minecraft. It truly amazes me how children are learning so much about technology at such a young age.

speaking generally, 'essential', 'basic', 'principles', 'fundamentals', 'general', 'introductory' and similar terms are fairly interchangeable where these courses are concerned. they basically separate themselves from more advanced-level courses, or more specific ones that deal with a subset of the topic, like 'cell biology of single-celled organisms' or 'biochemistry of the brain'

thanks for your help. I ran out of time so I just submitted it really quick and just explained the trouble I was having. I think that is the only one I will do. It's hard when you are a Political Science major and you are trying to understand all of these computer classes and biology classes. I don't have to take anything like that, so that is a whole new world for me.

i hear ya... i'm surprised there aren't any political science courses, he seems to be into the quantitative social sciences... i was a political science major for a while and my school was 100% about data analysis so i gave it up, i wanted a better theoretical basis but we just sat on computers analyzing election data the whole time...
