Congrats! How exciting. My son born on 3/30 and myself 3/17. Do you know yet or are you keeping it a surprise? Best wishes
haha same here! He whines about how I'm not paying attention to him, but I might miss out on some good hits!
Nah, I used to be an avid World of Warcraft player. Turking is less addictive, and turns a profit. Wifey doesn't mind one bit.
I have an aquarium maintenance company with my partner but the extra mturk money helps. With the mTurk money I can pay all of our bills except electric and rent. I pay cell phone, internet, car insurance, MMO subscription, Netflix, and then buy some stuff I need/want on Amazon, and have a little extra cash to go towards Christmas. My boyfriend was giving me a hard time for turking so much until I started paying for everything.
Short Audio-Rating Survey https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...rt+Audio-Rating+Survey&minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0 .40 3 mins. 1 good T.O
Cha Cha was great. I won't get a smartphone but i could text them and they would tell me things i needed to know. Except if I asked something uncommon then I would get the weirdest answers back.
Short Audio-Rating Survey Requester:Richard Truncellito Reward: $0.40 per HIT https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...s&searchWords=richard&minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0# Took me <3 min.
I use to do ChaCha, until they quit the contests for extra pay. For those who spouses also do MTurk, there isn't an issue with 2 people doing it from the same IP address? I use the MTurk money to pay bills and buy food. I am able to do this while caring for my daughter during the day, verses putting her into daycare. Edit: And yes, my husband says I turk too much.
I want to kick myself in the ass for wasting the time i did on chacha when i could have been on mturk. (well not a total waste, i did make money and have some good laughs)! the last time i was on, it took me ALL day to make $4 LOL
that was from the people who didn't care to research answers...they would get suspended after a while but it wasn't instant. I only made about $300 from ChaCha since 2009, I joined that and mturk at the same time but didn't get back to mturk until August this year but i've made 10x on here in just that time
I did Cha Cha for a little while. When you would ask something uncommon, the program would auto-suggest an answer based on a keyword. Lazy workers would, of course, just choose whatever the auto-suggestion regardless of relevance. Used to infuriate me when I saw a person's answer history and it was all bullshit auto-responses.
Yes, we found out its a girl 5 weeks ago. She's already named and everything. Madelynn Grace. To go with Dylan and Jaslynn Rose. I guess I have a thing for Y's.
I have been putting course not offered. In the comments I leave lengthy details, links, etc... to CYOA. Rubin was cool with us stating this for college courses. Sometimes these catalogs are for this year, sometimes they are for multiple years. You can look in the Catalog and see the course is offered by the school, but it doesn't mean that it will be taught during the previous, this or the next semesters. I think Rubin understands that and so far all of my work as been approved.

I've worked for ChaCha for 4 years and they have really sucked monkey balls the last year. At one point I could make $200+ a weekend with the bonuses and contests but when they started limits and brought in the Vetter role they got slow as hell.
