Most of the Rubin hits left of are trash. Its like the person that was working on other areas of the hits just did not care.
i'm actually breezing through them, i might even hit $100 and i didn't start working til halftime, and i'm only doing grand valley state, brock, georgia tech, and the few remaining university of colorado hits...
damn someone did 1000 rubins? wow well hopefully the rejections are for bad work and arent random. doubt they're random... either way, im not nervous. for once...! lol! i might have did 100 this time, and messaged him or left a comment for things i wasnt sure about. i hope this doesnt leave a bad taste in his mouth and next time he puts the masters qual. on them
Agree, I either can't find the professor, wrong match with course and # or the course is from 2004. Not sure what to do with those.

Ive hit my rubin wall for the day. I think I knocked out around 260 or so. Rest of the night im going to sit back and work on my day job.
i think i'm gonna add csu long beach next. i noticed that there were lots of brock and gvsu hits and thought maybe the catalog wasn't available, but it turns out it's just a little annoying to work with, you have to backtrack to the original link from the registrar's site to get into the catalog for each search, but it's really just hitting back twice and clicking two 'next' buttons... totally worth it... some of the schedule entries even have the professors' emails right next to their names... EDIT: the backtracking is for georgia tech and grand valley, brock's schedule was just a pain in the ass to find but once you do, it's the easiest school i've worked on in this batch, especially because no matter how big the course is, only the professor is listed, no TAs...
I have done about 100 as well, not sure how anybody is able to do a 1000. I also left comments etc.if I wasn't sure. I think we have to trust on Matt Rubin's judgement. Just because somebody has 150 rejections doesn't mean that the requester is to blame for it. . Maybe the worker didn't do a good job??? BTW, he was rejected FAST!!! I have everything still pending approval.
Not sure if you'll see this tonight, but... I'm in Michigan with Comcast as well. I've done four of their hits with the third one being rejected. The last one hasn't been approved or rejected yet. So hopefully it goes through tomorrow since it will be the eighth day. I have no clue what I did wrong with the one that was rejected. Wish I could help, but I'm not sure anyone can. It doesn't make sense why they reject. Although... Last week while I was doing the hit, I did notice some lists had the movies and some didn't that you would think should have. I know that sounds obvious...it's hard to explain, but I'm starting to think maybe I wasn't as careful as I thought I was. We're both in Michigan, maybe you can call me next time and we'll compare notes. J/k.
Hmm it seems i lack to have any motivation to work once i hit 100 dollars lol, i never want to keep going. And i hit that magical mark at 5pm today.. so i just been hanging out lol... so people got rejected from rubin? that must have been from a different batch.. I have everything approved up until The past 2 days, which are pending.
they don't respond. i've emailed through turk and from my email account directly to the gmail address they provide. no response, just generic text with the rejected hits saying i didn't follow the directions. the fact that two of my hits for them were accepted means they have accepted data for my area, so i don't know, but they're on my boycott list with raphael mudge. i guess it really doesn't matter, it's about 3 minutes of work for $3-$5 and the threat of only one rejection each time, but i hate to encourage these kinds of requesters.

I agree. The payout is good, but I don't like working for someone that rejects for no apparent reason either. And I've written to them through email and mturk with no response as well. I would be like you if I had gotten a second rejection, but since it was only one, I'm giving them one more chance.
No wonder I'm always getting kicked out of this guys surveys. I didn't realize they were mostly for men only.
