Personally, I've been avoiding LinkedIn. I do stuff like this outside of mTurk, and I have found LinkedIn to be inaccurate. I rely on Manta, Hoovers, and CrunchBase.

I've a few of the rubin hits where people didn't even give the course from the right school. The given school was Chicago University but the course and course number were from Loyola. Same town wrong school. That was the third one I've seen like that. People are submitting crap work
I've seen way less crap this batch than others, before people were sourcing classes from the late 90's early 2000's as the source

I have had luck then, I guess. I don't use LinkedIn because I don't like the idea of such a broad range. I actually just switched to other HITs because my internet was really slow for some reason.
