i really think he needs to institute a qual for these... maybe based on good work in the course finding batch, or something... though those probably need a qual too...
I hope this isn't the case. If it is, I hope they start to catch on...this is a good requester, I don't want them to disappear because of poor results
that must be new. i just did one and didnt have to put that info. as for the video, thats not new. you have to watch the video and take the quiz if its your first time doing those particular ones. edit: you know what? maybe if it's your very first time doing them.... i honestly dont remember giving my age/location though. have yall ever done any of ppc's hits?
Hey, just an idea on how to help. When you google search, try looking for this... “Iowa State University” “E E 224” syllabus The quotes means that the entire phrase would be together and add syllabus at the end. This will usually find one or two and then look at the top and the instructor will be listed right there. Now... why didn't I think of this last night....
If this is the case then maybe one of you should think about contacting him directly and mention the higher rate of HIT disappearing might be an indication that someone is scamming him. To have a closer eye on quality control.
that probably doesn't help for courses scheduled for next spring, which is the info he prefers, because he wants most likely to get in touch with these professors before classes begin. and on some syllabi online, it's impossible to tell which year and semester the course took place...
.10 cents or more per minute qualify as a great hit, and doesn't hurt that the requester has good a TO.
already writing something... EDIT: has he/she/anyone from piazza ever posted here? if not i'm going to invite them...
Just got an email from Mark about these an answering a couple of questions I had. He said he is going to try and look at the qual hits everyone did tomorrow, but his day today is over and he was heading home. He has to manually grade the qual hits to issue higher scores.
