i sent a long message to 'matt rubin' or nick or whoever is posting the rubin hits. hopefully someone takes a look at it. it's entirely possible that they've just gotten more popular over time and this is a busy time of day for mturk, or even that the requester himself removed some from the batch at some point. the problem i see is that after going through a few professor batches, it became clear that the quality control on the part of the requester is somewhat lacking. many of us noticed really obviously incorrect submissions which we can only assume were approved from the course number batch for use in the professor batch, and i'm sure this didn't escape the attention of scammers who would be even more encouraged by this as well as the fact that, while the hits are not on a quick auto-approve, he has been approving massive numbers of these en masse of late.

One thing to note is while I agree with you, some of the schools listed are very broad. Like the U of Maine yesterday was both the main campus and Southern Maine. Miami was the uni in Ohio and Florida. Shit was confusing.

I'm confused by the "rate simple sentences" one. The directions say

Please read the sentences and vote on the one that you think is the easiest to read and understand in each.

So we just pick out the easiest and click the bubble or to we click the bubble next to each sentence , rating each one? Can more than one be easiest or hardest or does each sentence get ranked on a scale? ....I miss rubin :(
