Can't Find Good HITs? 11/30

My Michelles are still pending as well. Did about 450 of them.

Any good batches out tonight?

 

That would be nice but I'm killing time with PPC HITs. A penny is better than no penny.

 

i only did a few and mines are still pending. i'm not sure the exact amount but it was no where near even 50 so i should have been one of the first people approved if that is the case.

 

Whenever I try and do redwood hits, the box shows up but I can't click the different options. Can anyone help?

sorry trying to do these as fast as i can but still do them well... i have gotten straight-up rewrites approved before, but now i have a few 'templates' in my head, so i basically cram the original into one of those, so i don't actually just reword the sentences. some of the originals aren't what she wants, they're either too personal-sounding, or too flowery and praising of the hotel, or whatever... and i have submitted and gotten approved some really short ones when i just basically rewrote what i was given, but lately i've been trying to get at least some set of basic details down for each hotel - a little about what's in the rooms, what's elsewhere in the hotel, whether there's shuttle service, options for business travelers, and if there's any random perks like being pet-friendly, handicap accessible, bus parking, anything to make them at least a little different from each other...

 

You're reviewing them, not selecting the radio buttons. When you click it, it should turn red. That means you marked it as wrong. If it's got the right answer selected just leave it alone and hit submit.

I appreciate it, I know you're trying to do work and comment at the same time. I'll submit a few and see how it goes. If I get rejected, I'll just have to try it out a different way.

 

which ones are you doing? if it's the review ones, you don't have to click the option. You only click the box (it will turn red) if the person if the person who answered it was wrong. Like... if it asks for a Halloween item in a store and the picture shows that but the person answered no, you click the box so it can highlighted since the right answer is suppose to be yes.

completed that stupid HIT where you click space bar to reveal 1 word at a time. I got it completed and went to scroll down to hit submit and i shit you not the whole HIT went white. tried tabbing tried clicking mouse, eventually went with fresh, complete loss. so i went to scroll down again and it went white on me again lol. 4 attempt i tabbed as fast as i could to submit and submitted. sent multiple explination , hope its enough. i sent a screenshot of the white screen. FML

 

I suck at finding good hits and people always beat me to em but maybe I can offer some contribution to the site by way of short cuts and how to advice.

Did you guys know that if you click a link with the middle mouse (push down mouse wheel) you open it in a new tab? This can really cut down surfing time and you don't lose the page your on.

just in terms of potential rejections, the hotel rewrites are intended for people who live in the area who are staying for one night and flying out the next day. i know it doesn't make any sense, and i haven't explicitly mentioned the part about the hotel being for locals, but definitely avoid anything that would imply that people are arriving at the hotel from the airport, like local attractions, except for i guess shopping and dining which they can use before they leave. also, i heard someone got a rejection for their language being too flowery, mine have all been slightly positive but nothing overboard like THIS IS POSSIBLY THE BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE YOU WILL EVER FIND or anything like that. finally, don't write in the first-person, that's an automatic rejection right there... i've personally avoided even addressing the reader as 'you' though i don't think that's unacceptable, i'm just in a particular groove with these that doesn't make use of it...

EDIT: also, i'm noticing that this batch right now is REALLY light on specifics...

EDIT AGAIN: the way i'm stressing that i took the rejection comments to heart is making sure that at some point in each review i define that it's a park & fly hotel, or a pre-flight hotel experience, or short-stay hotel (even though that makes me think of love motels), or something along those lines, just to reinforce that people are staying for a short while and leaving on the incredible journey soon thereafter.

That one was buggy for me too. The Flash module crashed when I accepted the hit and I had to refresh a few times before it loaded.

I am having a problem accessing the PPC HITs - I watched the video - clicked the accept button on the intro blurb - answered the demo questions, hit submit and go right back to the into blurb. Tried it several times. I am on FF. Any suggestions? (sorry if already answered somewhere - I did search with no luck)
