My husband was just laid off. We don't have any unemployment yet. I have a side job where I make may be 30-50 dollars a week. I plan to turk while I do my other job and just return hits when the phone rings. (I hope returning won't kill me) My side job used to make $100-200 a week, but it's been slow for a year, plus when my husband was working it was just play money so I didn't really keep a cultivated client base. (Phone psychic) So my goal, should I be able to achieve it, is 630 dollars a month or 21 dollars a day before taxes. If I want to include taxes, probably about 25 dollars a day. I understand I may have to work 8 hours a day 7 days a week, but I have few other options.
It might be a little hard to hit 21 a day *at first* but once you get going 21 a day is fairly easy and very doable. Returning HITs won't really hurt you. Amazon itself says the "returned HITs' stat is just for your records, although there actually is a qualification referring to returned and abandoned HIT rate. Luckily no requester worth their salt ever uses it. Though you might not have to return many. A lot of HITs have 30 minute, 60 minute, 3 hour+, and even 24 hour and week long timers. Often you can snag a HIT and work on it as you go without having to return it, you just pause when the calls come in and go back when they're over.
tens a day is pretty easy, 15 a day even is pretty doable, 21 a day just starting out might require more hours than it's worth. try to split time between surveys and batchwork, the batch work will help get your numbers up to where you can qualify for more jobs
