Just want to introduce myself. I signed up for this forum because I'm a requester since yesterday and wanted to learn out a bit more about the MTurk community. I want to use MTurk to collect data for my Phd research. T.
I have a question, and cannot find it back in the FAQ. At the moment I have an open HIT and need some workers to complete the HIT. Am I allowed to post a message in the good HIT topic about my HIT, or am I not allowed to do that (because maybe I can't advertise for my own HITs)?
Sure you can. I've seen other requesters join the forum to invite them to do their HITS. Ive seen them explain their HITS as well.
Welcome to the Forum. I don't see any reason you couldn't post your own HIT here on the forum - we have a few requesters that post here, you could make a thread in the requester part of the forum or post in the Good HITs thread since that gets a lot of traffic.
Ah great thank you. I just posted it in the good HIT thread. Just wanted to make sure that I didn't do anything against the rules
