This whole new account thing is a drag. First day on my new account, but I managed to make 17 dollars today! Pretty good considering the first 10 day HIT limitation. ^_^

How does one make $20 dollars or more a day, let alone 50+. I'm a new member and I've been on about 14 hours a day for 3 days now and have barely got $10 dollars each day. Any tips for a newb? Are you guys all just pro transcribers or what? Just wanting to learn how to make some extra cash this summer before I go back to university!
The most I've ever made in a day is about $18.60 doing CastingWords transcriptions. Took about four hours. I have no idea how some people get up in the 50s and higher unless they are literally doing mTurk as a job, sitting on here 12 or more hours per day (and I think that some people do that.)
surveys surveys surveys they are the best way for me to make money but you gotta catch the good ones early on the weekdays especially on mondays
Well thats why I was asking, I'm sitting on here prolly 12+ hours a day as well and not having that luck. Maybe I need to get involved with the transcribing. I already know a way I could do it easy as I am an electronic music producer, I can just import all the audio files into my DAW slow down the BPM and control start/stop with my midi controller beside me instead of investing in a foot pedal.
Been at it for about an hour today, at around $5... today's goal is $30, gotta pick up the pace if I'm going to get there

There definitely aren't a large number of HITS. It's feeling like a survey kind of day, there's at least a decent amount of those to work through

Made 10 bucks today. Not bad considering I woke up at 3 in the afternoon, and this is my fourth day on THIS mturk account.
