OK, I finally got through my 10 day trial period. Does your account balance always lag behind your total earnings?
Yes at times it can. Total earnings are cumulative and updates when your HIT's have transitioned from Pending Approval to Approved-Pending Payment. Your Current Balance on the Account Settings page updates when your Approved-Pending Payment HIT's transition to Paid. Do not worry about being paid. Once your HIT's are Approved-Pending Payment they will clear eventually. Hope this helps.
How long can a HIT stay in pending approval? What happens if it is not approved or rejected, is there a chance of never getting paid for these?
Patience is something you will have to learn to abide by when turking. Some pay fast.. some make you wait for that 30 day limit. There are many requesters that pay fast and well that you will learn to work for more often. Hpapy turking!
