Do you have a link to the reddit post? I'm having trouble with this. It's showing up in my extensions but I don't think it's working. I never got any screen prompt instructions after installing. I might have done something wrong. Original post might help.
Btw- Anyone try the Task Archive extension on chrome? It costs $2.99. I might end up trying it out myself tomorrow. Update: I installed it and it's working pretty well. I'm still not entirely sure how it works but I think it's keeping track of the hits I've completed by leaving a green check mark next to the hits I've done. And I'm able to block requesters and hits, which is something I really needed. I definitely recommend.
MTSuite updated again last night. The 2 orange boxes for pandas on a "No more of those hits" are back. Times have been inserted for logged hits. Little colored boxes to represent TO. He;s still working on it, but considering he has a pile of Amazon poo to start with, he's doing fine. There are updates on other scripts on that forum. https://www.mturkcrowd.com/forums/userscripts-extensions-and-software.14/
Is there a script that shows the clock when working on a hit that reflects time spent and not time remaining? They've changed it to time remaining. Also, is there a way to see how many hits total are available at any given moment on the site? They took that away too. We now have to click so many times just to get information on a hit. Turkopticon 2 can only be accessed if you click into the requester (separate window makes it so much easier) then from there both TO1 and TO2 are easily accessible. They've taken away the hit information showing right on the hit. Now you have to click several times from the main list in order to get all the information. You should always be able to see the entire title of the hit as some requestors put qualifying information there and we should always be able to see the requestor name.
I'm so sorry, didn't see your post till just now...I don't have the original reddit post, but here is the link that will take you back to your old database. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/dashboard?doNotRedirect=true. Hopefully that is the issue. Oops...should have kept reading. Glad you got it working. Yea, I leave it turned off and then turn it on and go in once a day to update. Not sure how long it is going to work, but it is nice to know it is there for now.
I haven't been able to get the dashboard enhancer to show anything new, in either FF or Chrome. I was able to get HITScraper to run in Chrome, but not FF. Now, as of an hour ago, HitScraper just keeps on "processing" and won't show any HITs. Any idea what the issues could be.. and yes, I made sure that I'm logged in.
Hit Scraper and Hit Finder stopped working this evening for some reason. Amazon must have changed something for the scripts to break. The scripts will need to be updated again.
For anyone that doesn't like the MTS Hit Finder's colors since it's still under construction. There's an alternative to HIT Finder: Hit Forker which adds pandas to your Panda Crazy for easy add-on. It also adds pandas to HIT Export so you can just click on it and it'll get added onto Panda Crazy. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/36597-hit-forker URL to use is: https://worker.mturk.com/?hit_forker
So I updated my hitscraper and I get this everytime i click a link from it. Please help. https://imgur.com/cRkO3Dk
was that a link to a private script you found somewhere? I don't know if that redirect to the old site still works you could try that to get a backup/csv export instructions on a previous message a few pages back I would think there would be a script to dump the old hit db to csv you could import the Hit DB is just a regular firefox sqlite databasse in your profile directory similar scripts were available last time few years ago when things broke the hit db
that might be a side effect of preview with no hits available? does it also happen for hits you can preview and hits you have accepted? somewhere in there is link with a group ID you can feed to TM, panda crazy or hit catcher otherwise, amazon redirects no hits available to a search page and changes the url that is why you can't just hit F5 to get another try at previewing or accepting the hit. it might just be a debugging option that will be removed at a later update? does seem a little abrupt and browser dependent. a few people have reported it as a bug on the greasyfork page
HIT Database alternative in Archive--I have no old backup. Will it start a new database anyway? NVM--they don't take Paypal, I'm not giving them my credit card or starting a Google Payments account. Another one will come along.
It's the Archive script Flora found, the one for $2.99. If my old one exists somewhere, tell me where to look. I rarely use it.
