Where did all the HITs go?

I took a brief sabbatical from MTurk over the last month or so, though I have been lurking wildly here at the forum on a mostly daily basis.

I thought I had better do a few HITs a day in case Amazon uses lack of activity as an excuse to suspend my account.

Just noticed there are only 115,000 or so HITs available. I have never seen the figure drop much below 200k before.

Have I missed something? Why has it gone so quiet?

 

Yeah it's been very low lately but the money is definitely still there!

Darr at times had 100K+ up at any time..

 

I noticed this drop too, but money has gone up for sure.

 

The money is still there. Amazon might've started kicking out all the scamster requesters like what they did with the scamster workers. But, it's very sad that a few good ones like Playa also got washed out in the torrents.

 

I noticed the same thing about scammers. Before I would see a scam posting on most pages. They are still common, but I only find about one a day that I report. Used to report 4 or 5 per day.
