I don't think we should talk about specific's of ACs or surveys out of respect to requesters who may be browsing this forum, imho.
My opinion is that, for 99% of the ACs we won't even have reason to discuss them, because if you have done say 50 surveys before then you have already seen all of them. But that 1% of ACs that happen where they try to trick us (for example that gun AC that made a lot of us reject) I think should be fair to discuss.
Hello! Today is my day 10 of turking, and I just wanted to say thanks for all the help. I am pretty obsessed with Turking so far, and you all have been pretty helpful, funny and nice. Haven't made it to 500 approved yet, but I'm pretty close - and the money has started rolling in as of today! I look forward to helping contribute!

sorry really wasnt directing to you as you were the offender..was answering your question and using it as a quote but really talking to everyone if that makes sense lol
I get what you are saying since this is a turking forum and the whole idea is to help each other out; however, Aphotic is right, and many requesters do browse this forum. It would not be unheard of for one of them to see us discussing their AC, then reject everyone who took the survey for fear their research is no longer accurate. I guess the best rule of thumb is this is a public forum and we want to make sure we keep a good relationship with the requesters, and just make posts knowing anyone could see it.
the idea of being 'tricked' is pretty subjective, to be honest, and the problem with even vague discussions of AC questions is that the longer they go on there's a greater likelihood that important details will be posted. i think, for the most part, we don't discuss them in any great detail unless rejections are occurring, at which point the survey is usually not available any longer, but that certainly doesn't mean it won't be reposted at a later date. the best way to deal with it would be not discussing them at all, and this is coming from someone who just discussed one... if i were a survey writer, i would definitely not be using the same old attention checks that people have seen a million times, not to try to trick you, but because scammers can internalize how the typical AC questions look just as well as us legitimate turkers, so i would want to prevent their data from getting included in the best way possible...
No more MedCrowd for the day. -sobs- On a positive note though I do hope he figures out the score thing so the people it's been happening to can stop having to deal with it. Off for some WoW time don't do all the porn HITs without me!
