[/QUOTE] Auto-approval means that the HIT will get approved after that time period has passed if they haven't rejected before then. All HITs have an auto-approval date. I think the maximum is 30 days.
I believe it means that is the time limit that the HIT will be approved by default if the requester doesn't do anything at all. There could be a rejection, but the requester would have to reject them within 1 day.
The only way they could have stolen your money is if they requested a transfer of your funds. If they got into your account, they would have had to add a new address if you get paper checks in India, or they would have to have added a confirmed bank account if they are doing an electronic transfer. I'm not sure how it works in India, something seems fishy though.
Take a screen shot of your mTurk dashboard to prove that you in fact had earned 80 dollars. Even if that amount was requested to be transferred out, it will still show your total earnings. Then upload the pic here and maybe we can help.
