    I put a question to him on the medcrowd thread, which I didn't even know was up earlier :( about my qual dropping. It keeps going up and down and it's really frustrating because it seems like the second that he puts hits up, I lose my qual. Ugh.

    I mainly did the CrowdSource url ranking or google keyword HITs in my first few days. Hell I still do them sometimes if it's slow or I'm particularly bored and haven't had any sleep.

    New turkers should take what they read here with a grain of salt.

    When you see someone post that a requester never rejects, you need to use your best judgement.

    Although it is rare, CrowdSource will reject you. If you do not follow their style guide, have repeated problems, or you just catch someone on a bad day, you will get rejections.

    If your qual keeps going down, it most likely has to do with the fact that you are still working qual hits. Once you recieve the email that you have gotten the qualification, you cant work the hits anymore because it will automatically drop you back down to 70...then Mark has to go in and fix it.

    Trust me, learned this the hard way:(

    i would never call them 'safe', i would just say they redeemed themselves a bit with the recent rejection-reversals (sounds like a skateboarding move)...

    i don't think that's a reason to for new turkers to not consider the information here valuable. there's always a chance of rejection with any requester, especially if you don't follow the rules or consistently turn in bad work, and i would hope that any turker, innocent newb or grizzled veteran, always has this in mind. but in a general sense, it is true that crowdsource is a lot less likely to reject than to just stop you from doing a particular type of work for them...

    Why do some of these surveys ask you to donate the $$ that you just got to a charity? It makes me feel guilty if I don't...they should know some of us are broke as hell and we need that $$$.

    Thank you, sas. We all know that ANY requester CAN reject. BUT, I've never heard of a rejection from anyone, ever, getting rejected from Crowdsource for this particular hit.
