I periodically get emails telling me I've been granted a qualification from SurveyComet for a particular survey. I've never yet been able to find a single one of those surveys. I don't get it. Do they have an automated process that just spews out qualifications to one and all, regardless of whether the HIT actually exists? And if so, WHY??

I get these emails, too. Really don't do surveys anymore, but I sometimes click them out of curiosity and about half the time, I find what you're reporting.

I get the impression that yes, it's automated. But I assume that it's because when they start the email machine rolling, the HITs are still available. They just must go fast in some cases.

It bothers me more that they don't seem to pay much, which is why I don't try to catch them. Although I don't know how long the surveys actually take, considering the estimates in the emails, a number of them sound like they take way longer than is justified by the pay.
