Yeah and after skimming the first few words in these you can normally tell if its pass or flag

thèse don't read like Yelp reviews and Yelp doesn't moderate language

 

Be careful with that. I've gotten 3 or 4 that have had peoples full names towards the end of it.

 

i feel weird flagging reviews of doctors/dentists/orthodontists, since that's basically their business - their name. same as restaurants named for the owner. do i flag all reviews of michael jordan's steakhouse??

EDIT: also, i wouldn't flag the \n reviews, it's just a newline character that wasn't escaped properly either by the database's output to cs or cs's output to mturk. the reviewers didn't add that themselves, except by hitting the enter key...

 

CS "Decide Whether Two Products Are the Same or Different" are now gone. It's crazy how fast 2k HITs can go away.

I cant believe that I didnt have to wait for the doctor!!! he was ready and EARLY! Usually I have to wait 20-45 min past my appt time. Good bedside manner and didnt remember a thing for my procedure. Colonscopy is a EASY (I cant believe I said that).

Good question. I haven't seen that exact example yet. I've gotten "Jessica whatever did a terrible job" or "John soandso is terrible at his job" so I've obviously flagged those ones.

i think we should flag reviewers who leave their whole names...

my question is, there are several reviews i've seen where someone both addresses other reviews as well as leaving his or her own comments... wat do?

 

I have not flagged Doctors/Dentists with their full names because in most cases it is their practice name as well.

 

I saw one that was like "Based on other reviews recommendations I tried this place and I loved it" and then they have their own review. I passed that one. I would probably be more inclined to flag if it was an attack on another comment or user......but maybe i'm doing it wrong.

So it says to flag if the last name is mentioned, but what if it is like Dr. (lastname)... still flag?

 

i think it's safe to pass if that's the name of the practice, but if it's not, then flag it... i just had a vet that i flagged, the reviewer mentioned his name but the business had a different name than his...
